Well ladies….after much thought (stressful too, I might add) I have picked a name for my business. Before I announce the name of it and the winner – please know that I sure do appreciate ALL the creative ideas everyone sent! (and there were A LOT of them….) There were so many neat and creative names that I had to narrow it down….… and I’ve had it narrowed down to 5 for the past week and a half. I then narrowed them down to 3 today and I put them in a hat and I picked one. The winning name is…………
“INKINGLY YOURS”
Submitted by Jackie Anderson. Congratulations girlie – you get your choice of any stamp set in any current catty I have going on right now!! WAHOOOO! You let me know what set you would like and I will get on that pronto!
Thanks again so much everyone who played along! This was fun and I think I *might* just run contests more often HEE HEE….(Ya, now that it’s over it’s fun LOL….It was a very difficult choice) J
I wandered on over to Taylored Expressions this evening and found this challenge waiting for me:
I was quite excited to see this sketch because I like using the multiple layers and deciding what DP to use AND...it's a chance to use my nesties! FUN!
Here is my card:
I used the Holiday Treasures designer paper with a ruby red base. For the top layer I used my fav color, Chocolate Chip and used a gemstone brad in the center of the snowflake.
I added the Peaceful Tidings rub on after I got the card assembled. Thanks for looking!

Ink: Chocolate Chip
Paper: Ruby Red, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Holiday Treasures DP

Good morning crafters! I've been in my craft room since 8 a.m. and the sun is pouring in, warming my back as I stamp, stamp, stamp the day away! :) Who could ask for a better day?! I had a *vision* of what this next card was gonna look like, but turns out, we don't have snowmen stamps that work with the size of squares I cut out. So...off I went to my retired cupboard and found Merry. It's such a cute set too - and I figured it works! I might dig out Frosty and try him on the next one...:) Thank goodness I kept some of these oldies but goodies! I went to a CTMH show last night and they used adorable snowmen on the card - that's what gave me the idea *wink* This card is a 5 x 7 card which is a size I have NEVER made...I like it! I have made 16 so far this morning and plan on making more this size...it's a great size to work with!
Thanks for looking! Tell me what ya think....
Recipe:
Stamps: Merry (retired)

WAHOOOO! I pre-ordered some boxes of the new Spring/Summer 2008-09 Catty! I am so excited - can't wait to see it! :) I am really hoping to see some more male-oriented stamps and more for young kids. It's always a great book, so why worry?! LOL....
I went to visit a dear friend of mine, Tamie, yesterday and she showed me some glass Christmas ornaments she put our rub-on's onto! OMGOSH are they freakin cute!!! SO....I stopped at Walmart on my way home last night, grabbed 4 boxes of the large glass balls and I just finished my first one. I LOVE THESE! Tamie, thank you, thank you, thank you for showing me the idea! YOU ROCK girl! Here's my first decorated ball...
What did I get up to today you ask? Well....let me just show you! *giggle*
I hosted a DVD Tin Scrapbook/Album class today! These are soooo fun and easy peesy to make! They would make such awesome gifts for ANY occasion...Bonnie and I were talking as we were crafting, and we figured they would make cute baby girl/boy shower gifts, girls birthday albums, recipe albums for wedding showers, to just name a few! Bonnie, it was so nice to just sit and *be* with you today - you're like a Mom to me and I hope you know how special you are! *HUGS*
THEN...the day just kept adding surprises...Melissa came over to visit! :) So...we went over our *other* addiction - Partylite - and discovered what we must have from the discontinue list and figured out our orders as Tamie is having a party tomorrow! FUN!
Now, everyone knows that I can't have Melissa over and NOT create *something.* So I set Melissa in charge of finding us something NEW to make. She came up with Laura's new technique she showcased on her blog, Scrapnextras.

Seriously...I think I could do Christmas all year-round! *GIGGLE* I'm such a kid at heart....I found these adorable snowman jars at Walmart and decided I will fill them with my leftover mini Hershey chocolate bars from my last stamper's club get-together. I then found some red 5/8" grosgrain ribbon and tied it around the jar! EASY PEEZY! Walaaa...3 gifts in 10 minutes! TFL!
